Scott and Finn earn Prudential Real Estate’s highest award
March 15, 2009 - The San Diego Union-Tribune
The dynamic Scott-Finn Team has earned the highest award from Prudential Real Estate for 2008. The Scott-Finn Team, headed by Raye Scott and Francine Finn, of Prudential California Realty’s Downtown office, were recently presented the PREA 100 award, which represents the top 100 of 58,000 sales professional/teams in the Prudential Real Estate Network. The team also received the Chairman’s Circle Diamond award for outstanding sales in 2008.
When asked what contributed to their great success in 2008, both Scott and Finn echoed the same sentiment, “There are many agents that will tell you what you want to hear. We told people what they needed to know.”
“We had the courage to walk away from overpriced and unrealistic listings and focus our time, energy and marketing dollars on listings we could sell,” Scott added. “Our clients know that time is money. We position our clients ahead of the market, not behind it.”
“We also consider our combined experience of over 45 years an invaluable asset, especially in this challenging market.” said Finn
The Scott-Finn Team concentrates on the downtown and North County coastal areas. The team consists of Raye Scott, Francine Finn, Monica Ball, Maureen Millman, Denny Oh, Sarah Scott, Marsha Shepard, Escrow Coordinator Dianne Miller and Marketing Coordinator Kea Bensen.
Scott and Finn Awarded by Realtor.com
November 2, 2008 The San Diego Union-Tribune
Raye Scott and Francine Finn, of Prudential California’s Downtown Marina office, were recently nominated for an award of excellence at REALTOR.com. This award is in recognition of the their marketing on REALTOR.com over the last 10 years. Francine and Raye have, with their marketing, generated 219,190 views of their listings by consumers looking in the San Diego market in the last 12 months alone! This is an average of over 3,300 per listing and on average over 500% more than most other realtors in the same market. There is a huge positional advantage in owning the Featured Home position in 92101 and San Diego and this has helped generate much of the above exposure.
The award is also in recognition of the way listings are presented on the website with the most complete and up to date information including multiple photos, featured tours, contact information, custom property descriptions and additional exposure for every listing on worldproperties.com. This award is given to a minority of agents that not only have access to excellent on line marketing and positioning on the world’s most trafficked real estate website but who also maximize the positional advantage generated by these systems with great information and sophisticated looking listings.

Scott~Finn & Associates Host State of the Market Update
May 27, 2007 - The San Diego Union-Tribune
Realtors Raye Scott and Francine Finn, of Prudential California Realty’s Downtown Marina office, recently hosted an informative seminar, Projects and Predictions: State of the Downtown Real Estate Market, at The Westin Hotel. The aim of the seminar was to help keep clients and downtown residents updated with current information on the changing market.
Alan Nevin an economist and real estate analyst, spoke about the current market and shared some promising and optimistic predictions. Additionally, Eric Martin, vice president of Bosa Development, spoke from the developer’s point of view, comparing San Diego to a more mature market, such as Vancouver, Canada. “It was a great event with a terrific turnout, and proved to be an interesting and encouraging evening,” said Scott. “We feel providing opportunities for our clients to learn more about the market not only benefits them, but also benefits us as agents and professionals. We look forward to sponsoring another seminar later in the year,” added Finn.
