In a world of fast food restaurants, trendy, expensive dining experiences and everything in between, wouldn’t it be nice to find a small, unpretentious, friendly place to have breakfast and lunch seven days a week? Welcome to The Brickyard! This little gem in the Marina District has a charm and warmth that keeps locals coming back over and over.
Is it the location at Kettner and G Street that makes it special? Or, is it the proximity to Pantoja Park? Maybe it’s the large outdoor patio frequented by locals and tourists, many with their dogs and babies in strollers and the trolley and trains passing by giving it an urban feel. It could be the great breakfast foods including a vegetarian or cheese and bacon breakfast burrito, bagels, eggs, oatmeal with fruit, fresh baked muffins, fruit cups and delicious coffee and specialty coffee drinks. Something special has emerged in Downtown San Diego
More specifically, something special and exciting has been unveiled in Little Italy downtown and word is spreading fast. The new jazz/supper club, Anthology, is not only visually beautiful, but brings a whole new level of sophistication to the San Diego music scene. Howard Berkson, developer and music aficionado, started with a warehouse on India Street and a vision. The developer side of him built six stories of office condos which are 80% sold.
