Downtown San Diego Quiet ZoneAttention Sleep Deprived Citizens of Downtown San Diego!

UPDATE
SD Quiet Zone Project Bid Opening 2/25/10
Location: City of SD Purchasing & Contracts Dept
Time: 2:00 p.m.
Contact: Scott Johnson, johnson@ccdc.com

Original post April 9 2009 - It appears that the sale of ear plugs, sleeping pills and noise reducing devices might be on the decline SOON. The word at a meeting of the “people who know” confirmed that we are 99.9% on line to have the Downtown San Diego Quiet Zone become a reality.

Luckiest Penthouse Buyers in San Diego!

The Grande South Penthouse 3902I had a wonderful lunch today along with my business partner and assistant hosted by the new owners of a fabulous penthouse at The Grande. They were so thrilled with the purchase and the process that they took us out to celebrate. This incredible unit is on the 39th floor and boasts unbelievable water and city views. It shares the floor with only 2 other units. The 2 bedroom, 2 bath unit also has a large den with 2 closets and can be used as a 3rd bedroom, dining room or gazing room over the city.

More experienced downtown dwellers realize that water is nice during the day, but night time is much more dramatic if the view is combined with city lights. After the initial hysteria dies down regarding views and the associated costs, attention usually becomes focused on the unit itself.
